Connect menu to action
Guests browse items, make selections, review the order and submit it without switching to a separate phone call.
Service Experience / Digital Prototype
The F&B / Room Service team reported low Room Service revenue. Guests paged through a thick printed menu, then called to explain each choice. Reza prototyped a responsive self-service flow connecting menu discovery to order entry.

Business signal / guest friction
The F&B / Room Service team reported low Room Service revenue. Guests browsed back and forth through a thick printed menu, called Room Service, and explained their choices aloud. The gap was between information and action: the menu showed what guests could order, but the order started in a separate phone call.
Proposed experience / access model
The responsive prototype brings hotel context, service information, menu browsing, item selection, order review and order submission into one guest-facing flow.
A single-use QR carries an expiring access token. The backend checks its active status and expiry, then matches room number, last name, and phone to an active guest stay before opening a session. Geolocation validation is not implemented.

Key decisions
Guests browse items, make selections, review the order and submit it without switching to a separate phone call.
The backend matches room number, last name and phone against the guest's current stay before opening a session.
Tokens expire at their configured time and become redeemed after successful access, so a used token cannot be reused.
Proposal / status
Reza carried the idea from the low-revenue business signal through service flow, interface design and prototyping. It remained a proposal, with no documented launch or revenue result.
